We love, love, love making these bags!  ... though we're not always able to have every style in stock at any one time so please enquire if you'd like a particular style.  Otherwise keep checking back as we make more stock in various styles week by week!   Please note:  The Upcyclist bags are not included in the 20% off sale for garments.

Bags and purses crafted from old recycled inner tubes from bikes,  motorcycles and trucks; paired with salvageable remnants of old torn bags destined for the tip.  The vegans' alternative to leather, these bags save a great deal of inner tubes from clogging up landfills.  

Each bag features its own unique inner tube branding - no two bags are the same!  

Important details to note about inner tubes

*  Rubber is durable, water resistant- and it gets hot if left in direct sun for prolonged periods!  Please take this into     
       consideration.
*  Because of the rounded shape of inner tubes, obtaining definite straight seams around the entirity of a bag is often-times
      impossible.  If you hope to have an inner tube bag which lines up neatly on every seam as with a fabric bag, you may be
      disappointed.
*  If you should happen to stab a hole in your bag - no problem!  Just patch up with a bike tyre repair kit.  It will add even more
      character to your bag.  Alternatively you could send the bag back to me and I will make repairs (a fee would apply).
*  You can quite justifiably bathe in the glorious knowledge that you have saved a quantity of inner tubes from landfill!  :-)

Please also note:  The sewing machines and equipment we use for the inner tube products are entirely separate from those used for our babies/childrens' garments.
